Truck Driver

Vaughan, Canada Newmar Window Manufacturing Inc. Full time

**Truck Driver - Monday to Friday; 7:00 am - 4:15 pm**

**Responsibilities**:

- Load window and door products into trucks in a safe and efficient manner
- Secure loads to prevent damage
- Drive to various job sites around the Greater Toronto Area
- Complete daily vehicle inspections
- Schedule routine vehicle maintenance with on staff mechanic
- Unload products at job sites by using safe lifting techniques and tools to assist in lifting
- Ensure packing slips are signed by customers and returned to Shipping Supervisor
- Wear all required PPE (Personal Protective Equipment) on job site and at Plant warehouse
- Ensure unloading of windows and doors are damage free
- Report quality issues and product damage to Shipping Supervisor
- Represent the company in a professional manner

**Qualifications**:

- Secondary School completion is an asset
- Valid GZ, DZ or AZ Class Driver’s License with clean drivers abstract
- 2-3 years of driving experience with a GZ, DZ or AZ license
- Ability to perform heavy lifting (loading/unloading goods)
- Knowledge of health and safety
- Ability to read and write in English
- Strong oral communication skills
- Great customer service skills
- Must be flexible to work overtime when required

Expected hours: No more than 44 per week
