**Responsibilities**:

- Operate DZ flatbed trucks to transport scrap metal across GTA routes.
- Conduct pre
- and post-trip vehicle inspections, ensuring compliance with safety regulations.
- Secure loads properly, adhering to OHSA and transportation guidelines.
- Maintain accurate logbooks and delivery records.
- Communicate effectively with dispatch, clients, and team members.
- Uphold professionalism and safety in all operations.

**Qualifications**:

- Valid DZ license (minimum) with a clean driver’s abstract.
- At least 3 years of commercial driving experience
- Flatbed and heavy truck familiarity
- Proven knowledge of GTA, ON routes and traffic patterns.
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Excellent communication skills for client and team interactions.
- Ability to work independently and manage time effectively.
- Over 25 years of age with insurance certification.
- Experience in steel or scrap metal transport is an asset.
