**Job Summary**

Buka Maranga is local hive, a gathering place for the community to enjoy a drink, a meal, and mid-day snacks with friends and colleagues. A scratch-kitchen, healthy minded menu and a comprehensive coffee program is what we offer in a trendy space with good vibes.

Buka Maranga provides its employees a work-life balance model. Operating hours are Tues - Sat 9am - 4pm; Sundays and Mondays closed.

SKILLS REQUIRED
- Promote the Buka Maranga brand in a professional and hospitable manner
- Accurately assembling of menu items according to recipe and presentation specification in an organized and clean manner
- Fast paced, must multi-task
- Coffee station manual espresso machine handling, grinding, tamping, steaming milk (La Marzocco Espresso Machine)
- Proper adherence to POS terminal processing while taking customer orders

QUALIFICATIONS
- Minimum of 2 - year related fast paced barista experience
- Fluency in English both written and verbal
- Ability to work flexible hours including on Saturdays
- Must be able to stand and move for extended periods of time to continuously perform essential job functions

**Job Types**: Full-time, Part-time, Permanent

Part-time hours: 20 - 40 hours per week

**Salary**: $15.50-$18.00 per hour
