Dawn Construction is a full-service general contractor and construction manager delivering commercial, institutional, residential, and light industrial construction projects across British Columbia. With a growing portfolio, we are seeking a **Site Superintendent** to support the successful delivery of an upcoming **Renovation Project in Whistler, BC**.

**Position Overview**

**Key Responsibilities**
- Lead on-site construction activities for a complex renovation project.
- Coordinate subcontractors, suppliers, inspectors, and consultants in collaboration with the Project Manager.
- Enforce safety protocols and environmental standards in accordance with WorkSafeBC and site-specific requirements.
- Maintain accurate daily documentation and progress reporting using Procore.
- Facilitate weekly lookahead schedules and ensure alignment with overall project timelines.
- Conduct regular site coordination meetings, promptly addressing issues as they arise.
- Communicate professionally with clients, consultants, and local stakeholders.
- Foster a respectful, inclusive site culture and provide mentorship to junior team members.
- Minimum **5 years of experience** as a Site Superintendent or similar role, preferably on renovation, tenant improvement, or architectural upgrade projects.
- Experience coordinating structural, mechanical, and electrical scopes within occupied or operational buildings is an asset.
- Strong understanding of renovation-specific challenges including demolition, phasing, and working in sensitive or high-traffic environments.
- Knowledge of BC Building Code, WorkSafeBC regulations, and construction best practices.
- Proficient with Procore and other construction management software.
- Demonstrated ability to maintain positive relationships with clients, consultants, and subcontractors.
- Valid Class 5 Driver’s License and willingness to travel to or stay near Whistler as required.
- Must be legally authorized to work in Canada and pass a background/security check.

**Job Type**: Fixed term contract

Pay: $110,000.00-$140,000.00 per year

- Whistler, BC (V8E): reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (required)
