Edmonton, Canada NCS Fluid Handling Systems Full time

**NCS Fluid Handling Systems is currently looking for multiple Field Technicians to provide services across our BC and Alberta locations**

**Start: Immediate**

**Schedule : Full time**

**Responsibilities and Duties**:

- Set up and operate specified tools and equipment, with assistance from Supervisor, Lead, or other support personnel.
- Stay current in safety training and keep required certificates up to date.
- Read production orders to verify quality standards for specifications, process and procedures.
- Verify that vessels, procedures, and processes conform to applicable work instructions.
- Monitor testing equipment operation and accuracy.
- Complete necessary documentation for testing requirements and results.
- Use overhead crane, hoists, or forklift, as necessary, to deliver product to area of next operation.
- Assist in diagnosing vessel, equipment or tool problems and resolve, as necessary.
- Perform preventive maintenance and calibration processes on specified tools and equipment.
- Follow directions and perform tasks as assigned by Forepersons, Project Managers, Safety Manager or upper management.
- Ensure that work, staging, and storage areas are safe and clean.

**Qualifications**:

- Knowledge of the practices, methods, techniques, tools and equipment used in the performance of maintenance work as assigned.
- Willing to work outdoors in adverse weather conditions.
- Able to lift and carry up to 50lbs.
- Ability to work extended shifts, out of town and weekend work, and overtime as required.
- Experience with Hydro testing an asset.
- Experience with filter pots preferred.
- Valid CSTS 2020 is preferred
- Valid WHMIS 2015 is preferred
- Valid H2S Alive is preferred

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent

**Salary**: $16.43-$28.64 per hour

**Benefits**:

- 12 hour shift

Supplemental pay types:

- Overtime pay

**Experience**:

- Field technician: 2 years (preferred)

Licence/Certification:

- Drivers License Class 5 (required)
