EnviroTRACE has been providing specialized leak detection for the past 25 years and is constantly working proactively at adapting and implementing new research and methods that align with technology and industry advancements.

Enviro Trace Ltd. is looking for a Water Leak Detection Technician to join our team in St. Albert, Alberta. This position is key to our organization and will be part of our continuous development and improvement program. This position is to start immediately.

As part of our team, you'll work from our St. Albert office and take on various responsibilities related to detecting and tracing water leaks. Our clients are primarily municipalities, engineering firms and infrastructure companies in Western Canada.

The work includes the following but is not limited to:

- Conducting water leak detection to identify potential water main leaks
- Report writing
- A combination of local and interprovincial travel
- Working in a collaborative setting and also independently. The Water Leak Detection Technician will help build and maintain a reputation for project quality and efficiency.
- Work sites are primarily outdoors in a broad range of weather conditions.
- Some lifting is required.
- Office working hours are Monday to Friday, 7:30 AM to 4:00 PM (8 hrs per day). Shifts may vary depending on project; weekends, overtime, and multiple overnight out of town stays may be required.
- Comfortable with highway and city driving with company vehicle.
- Flying may be required across Canada.
- Follow best practices in accordance with EnviroTRACE's company policy.

**Qualifications**:

- A Class 5 Driver's License is required.
- The applicant must be fluent in spoken and written English.
- Accuracy and high attention to detail is required.
- The applicant must be proficient in Microsoft Office.
- Good communication and a collaborative mindset, are essential.
- Familiarity with water distribution systems would be a plus
- Fire hydrant maintenance and inspection experience would be an asset.
- Acoustic water leak detection using equipment such as ground mic's an asset.

**NOTE: Be able to provide a Driver’s abstract and background checks as requested.**

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent

**Salary**: From $25.00 per hour

Expected hours: No less than 40 per week
