**ALLOCATIONS ANALYST**

**Winnipeg Based**

**Hybrid Work Environment (report to office and opportunities to work remotely)**

At Bootlegger, our Allocations Analyst is responsible for formulating and executing allocation strategies ensuring optimal in-store inventory levels that deliver the desired sales and margin goals for the company. In partnership with the Allocations Manager, Merchandising and Planning teams, our Allocations Analysts ensure timely flow of merchandise from the Distribution Centre to stores to support the assortment strategy and in-store marketing events. As Bootlegger’s Allocations Analyst you will be responsible for;
- Support in creating, managing, executing and analyzing inventory plans at the product/class/item level to maximize business opportunities
- Allocations of goods to stores based on planned assortments for season openings
- Overseeing and assessing inventory and making recommendations to ensure stores have the optimal level of product at all times
- Managing replenishment allocations from distribution centre
- Assisting the merchandise planner throughout the planning process by conducting analysis and generating recommendations to support future purchases (for example, store rankings and size imbalances)
- Analyzing store inventory weeks-of-supply relative to chain-wide averages to identify and correct stores with excessive stock positions or high inventory needs
- Creating and updating store rankings seasonally and in season to support store needs and to support future planning
- Participating in developing new store stock pile plans and executing the plan
- Communicating regularly with the Allocations Manager to facilitate informed decision making

Bootlegger is looking for an individual who is;
- Mathematically skilled and has experience working with retail calculations such as weeks-of-supply, sales rates, etc.
- Analytical and has strong critical thinking skills
- Skilled in the use of Microsoft Excel and other Microsoft suite programs
- A strong communicator, both verbally and in written communication
- Organized and detail orientated, especially when working under tight deadlines
- Collaborative and able to work as part of a team
