Refer to the "How to apply" section if you require a disability-related accommodation. **What can I expect to do in this role?**: In this role, you will: - Work closely with Deputy Solicitor Generals (DSG) offices, HR SBU, WDHP and other cross-ministerial stakeholders to: - provide strategic advice for Ministry commitments in fostering a positive and inclusive workplace culture - make recommendations to clients, senior management and/or DSG on the best course of action for resolution, accounting for risk and cultural impact - develop innovative solutions that will help the CMO deliver on its mandate and priorities - Oversee a busy team of conflict management practitioners to advance the Inclusive Workplace Strategy and the Correctional Services Workplace Anti-Racism Action Plan priorities within SOLGEN - Provide leadership, expertise and advice on strategy, program development and issues related to workplace culture trends and remedies - Provide senior leadership and ministry partners with expertise and strategic advice on internal and external workplace reviews - Manage complex conflict management cases and escalations via interpretation of related legislation, corporate policies, programs and initiatives, and collective agreement provisions - Conduct workplace reviews to identify, analyze and make recommendations to proactively resolve workplace conflicts between colleagues and/or management and employees - Manage relationships with vendors who provide workplace reviews services and support, including trouble shooting issues, concerns, or obstacles and ensuring vendors deliver on their commitments - Provide trends analysis pertaining to conflicts and barriers to their resolution to provide input and recommendations on the development of related policies, practices, workflows, and tools - Design conflict resolution services, initiatives and interventions including conflict coaching, facilitation, and mediation to respond to systemic issues impacting fair, professional, and ethical workplace - Develop and implement training programs to enhance conflict resolution skills - Provide advice on social policy issues and recommend options in consideration of ministry and government objectives - Lead and coordinate innovative and creative policy products and briefing presentations that consider key factors such as cultural impacts, client and organizational interest and needs, as well implementation and long-term impacts on the populations the ministry employs - Provide leadership, advice, guidance and mentoring to staff **How do I qualify?**: **Leadership and Project Management Skills**: - You have demonstrated leadership skills to manage, lead, engage and motivate a collaborative team to deliver high quality results—including coordinating assignments, monitoring tight timelines and results, and providing guidance, while mentoring to staff to achieve outcomes. - You have demonstrated experience in building and contributing to an inclusive and equitable team culture. - You have experience developing unit and branch strategies and business planning priorities. - You have demonstrated project management skills to lead the development, implementation and evaluation of various complex projects to support the delivery of ministry initiatives/programs. - You have strong political acuity when providing expert opinions/briefings, advice to senior management on identified and emerging issues impacting ministry goals. **Consultation, Communication, and Relationship Management Skills**: - You have consultation skills to identify client needs, consider sensitive situations, and develop appropriate strategies and advice. - You can clearly and concisely communicate messages both verbally and in wri
