**Position Overview**: As a Canvasser at Gateway Exteriors, you will play a pivotal role in driving our business growth and expanding our customer base. Your main responsibility is to generate leads by engaging with potential customers in targeted areas. Representing our company, you will promote our services and set the stage for our sales team to provide detailed consultations and quotes.

**Key Responsibilities**:

- **Lead Generation**: Proactively approach potential customers in residential areas, introducing them to our range of home improvement services including roofing, siding, eavestroughs, windows, and doors. Your goal is to generate new leads and schedule appointments for our sales team.
- **Customer Engagement**: Build rapport with potential customers, understand their home improvement needs, and effectively communicate the benefits and features of our services.
- **Information Distribution**: Distribute brochures and other marketing materials, ensuring potential customers receive clear and accurate information about our wide range of services and pricing.
- **Team Collaboration**: Collaborate with the sales team, sharing leads and insights, and participating in team meetings and strategy sessions.

**Qualifications**:

- **Experience**: Previous experience in canvassing, sales, or customer service is preferred.
- **Education**: High school diploma or equivalent. Additional education or training in marketing or sales is a plus.
- **Travel**: Own transportation preferred. Public transportation available.
- **Skills**:

- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to engage and persuade potential customers effectively.
- Self-motivated with an assertive approach to lead generation.
- Basic knowledge of home improvement services (including roofing, siding, eavestroughs, windows, and doors) with training to be provided.
- **Attributes**:

- Friendly and approachable demeanor.
- Strong work ethic and ability to handle rejection.
- Keen interest in continuous learning and development.
- Dependable and timely.
- **Physical Requirements**: Ability to walk and stand for extended periods.

Work as much or as little as you want on the days that you want. Essentially knock doors, set appointments with homeowners for estimates, and get paid per qualified lead.

**Job Types**: Full-time, Part-time, Casual

**Salary**: $750.00-$2,000.00 per week

Expected hours: No less than 20 per week
