Spetter Zeitz Klaiman PC is seeking Commercial Litigation Law Clerk

**About the Role**

Communication skills are a key requirement for this role, together with organization and the ability to work alone, but also be part of the team.

**Responsibilities**:

- Assist with a busy and demanding litigation practice;
- Prepare and complete all necessary litigation documentation such as motion records, pleadings, notices, affidavits, etc.;
- Manage timelines and deadlines;
- Proficiency with Soluno and MS Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint);
- Communicate professionally with all internal and external clients
- Ensure all filing is organized and up to date on a daily basis, both physical and electronic

Handle administrative details with respect to calendar management, client meetings, accounting, closing files and docketing
- Preparation of accounts;
- Ability to work both independently and within a team-oriented environment;
- Law Clerk or Legal Assistant Diploma/Certificate from a recognized institution;
- Experience with Litigation Highway and PC Law a definite asset and Tymetrix; and
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills with attention to detail.

**Education/Skills**
- Law Clerk or Paralegal Designation/ Legal Assistant Diploma
- Minimum 5 years working in a Litigation Law Clerk position.
- Experience with Caseline and MyCase an asset
