The Leasing Agent will report to the Director of Operations for Grandview Consulting and Management.
**Job Overview**
**Responsibilities and Duties**
- Primary function of this role is to advance leads through the sales funnel with the ultimate goal to achieve a fully leased community upon opening.
- Respond to all inquiries into the community within a timely and effective manner.
- Must love people and have a genuine positive outlook to facilitate the prospect experience strategy set out by Grandview Consulting and genuinely develop relationships with each prospect, depositor and lease-holder.
- Negotiating sales, deposits and preparing leases.
- Generate leads by identifying and facilitating strategic opportunities to develop top of mind relationships with key community stakeholders. Including networking, cold calling, participating in events, hosting events etc..
- Ensure all sales targets, tactics and metrics are met each month.
- Track all activity in the contact management database (activity tracker). Ensure regular and creative follow-up to advance top-of-mind awareness with contacts as well as foster/nurture relationships.
- Participate in regular meetings, planning sessions, and complete weekly activity reporting and ensure over communicate efforts with the Leasing Manager.
- Keep abreast of any new market trends, competitive analysis and industry best practices
- Continuously improve through collaborative feedback, mentorship and coaching.
- Work as a team player is utmost importance. Collaboration, teamwork and flexibility to get the work completed in a proactive manner with a positive can do attitude.
- Self-manage a flexible schedule and be available on evenings or weekends if required.
**Accountability Objective**
The main priority and objective of this role is to lease the entire community before construction completion fully. To strategically develop strong client experience and word-of-mouth lead generation. Foster, nurture and genuinely foster relationships with all key stakeholders.
**Qualifications**
- Post-secondary education with a preference to business administration, sales, marketing, communications, public relations, or a background in an industry related to the position: real estate, healthcare, geriatrics, hospitality etc..
- Minimum 2 years’ experience in business, entrepreneurship or management. Preference to those with experience in geriatric care and senior housing.
- Must demonstrate strong ability to operate as a self-manager with enthusiasm and leadership. Must be able to demonstrate empathy and patience with seniors and families.
- Must demonstrate confidence, intuition and leadership in communicating with stakeholders, prospects and referral sources.
- Must have a positive and enthusiastic outlook with an outgoing, friendly and welcoming personality.
- Collaborative nature with an openness to feedback, training and coaching.
- Must be comfortable speaking in front of large groups of people and promoting the brand with enthusiasm.
- Must have a good understanding of computers, including Google Docs and Microsoft programs.
- Must have valid driver’s license and access to a vehicle.
**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent
**Salary**: From $60,000.00 per year
Additional pay:
- Bonus pay
- Commission pay
