- **About the Role**_
The Regional Director reports to the Executive Director and oversees the operations, staff, and programs in the North Region. You will lead with purpose, ensure alignment with LDAS’s mission and goals, and foster partnerships to deliver high-quality programs that empower individuals with learning disabilities to reach their full potential.
- **Key Responsibilities**_
**Leadership and Strategy**
- Provide strategic direction for the North Region, ensuring programs align with provincial goals.
- Collaborate with the Senior Leadership Team to address regional priorities and implement impactful initiatives.
- Represent LDAS at community events and build strong stakeholder relationships.
**Program Oversight**
- Work closely with the Director, Program and Service Delivery, to ensure effective program implementation and evaluation.
- Identify community needs and recommend program adaptations or new initiatives.
- Ensure compliance with organizational policies and funder requirements.
**People Management**
- Recruit, train, and supervise a high-performing team in the North Region.
- Motivate and mentor staff, fostering a culture of collaboration and innovation.
- Ensure effective communication and adherence to internal policies.
**Financial and Operational Management**
- Manage the regional office budget and oversee day-to-day operations.
- Prepare and submit regular reports on activities, outcomes, and challenges.
**Community Engagement and Partnerships**
- Build relationships with stakeholders, including government agencies, funders, and community organizations.
- Advocate for LDAS’s mission and values within the community.
- Serve as the main point of contact for media and public inquiries in the region.
- **What You Bring**_
**Education and Experience**
- Bachelor’s degree in Non-Profit Management, Business Administration, Social Work, or a related field (Master’s degree preferred).
- At least 10 years of management experience, preferably in the non-profit sector.
**Skills and Competencies**
- Strong leadership and program development skills.
- Excellent problem-solving and decision-making abilities.
- Ability to build effective partnerships and collaborate with stakeholders.
- Solid understanding of business functions, including finance, HR, and communications.
- Proficiency in MS Office and program management software.

**Additional Requirements**
- Knowledge of the regional community and its unique needs.
- Availability to travel within the region and to the provincial office as needed.
