Finance Manager

**Principal Responsibilities**
- Responsible for the daily oversight of management of the finance department.
- Organize the development of Tanco financial management system and relevant regulations and provide advice as required.
- Responsible for implementation of appropriate cost accounting methodology for Tanco suite of products, including appropriate distribution of production costs between goods in process and finished products.
- Responsible for preparing, organizing, and meeting deadlines on the implementation of monthly and annual financial and budget reports.
- Complete monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports on or before due date and submit to corporate directors and ownership level.
- Provide monthly, quarterly, and financial results and advise on cost reduction opportunities.
- Provide financial and analytical support to each site as required.
- Ensure capital project policies and procedures are being followed at the site.
- With assistance from professional advisors, submit tax returns and other required information to tax authorities and other government agencies in a timely manner.
- Maintain ongoing relationship and continuous communication with tax agencies and audit institutions.
- Execute the instructions of the Group Finance Department.
- Meet timelines on all tasks.

**Qualifications**:

- Excellent general and cost accounting, internal control, financial management, and problem-solving skills.
- A good mix of technical accounting, analytical, managerial, and communication skills is necessary for this position.
- Strong knowledge of Generally Accepted Accounting Principles and accounting processes.
- Exposure and knowledge of the mining industry would be a definite asset.
- Team orientation with ability to interface with all levels of the business.
- Take the initiative to make things happen and deliver results.
- Deliver quality products on a timely basis.
- Recognize problems and identify underlying causes, develop a range of options, and make timely decisions.

**Education and Experience**
- Professional Accounting Designation (CA, CMA, CGA, or CPA)
- Minimum 7 years accounting and finance work, with internal control and cost accounting background.
- Mining and manufacturing background is desirable.
- 3 or more years in managing staff.
- Microsoft Office and applicable software.
- Sage, KloudGin.
