**BOTANICA DESIGN** creates exceptional outdoor spaces. We are seeking a skilled and experienced **Horticulture Manager** to join our creative and fast paced team. As the Horticulture Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing a team of 4-8 gardeners, managing all aspects of our garden and landscape maintenance division. This is a hands-on role that requires extensive knowledge of horticulture practices.

**Duties**:

- Provide exceptional garden care for properties we have designed, built and now maintain
- Supervise a team of gardeners, providing guidance, leadership and hands on training
- Create schedules on a weekly basis and maintain efficiency within that schedule
- Communicate with all maintenance clients in a timely, friendly and professional manner
- Collaborate with our other departments to coordinate the planting of installation projects

- Stay up-to-date with industry trends and best practices in horticulture

**Requirements**:

- Proven experience in horticulture management
- In-depth knowledge of plants, trees, shrubs, and flowers in the BC climate
- Excellent leadership and communication skills
- Ability to effectively manage a team and create a positive and inclusive work atmosphere
- Attention to detail, strong problem-solving abilities and a sense of urgency
- Creative talent and on trend garden design knowledge
- Valid driver's license

**Salary**: $28.00-$32.00 per hour
