Durham College is seeking experienced and motivated professionals who share our commitment to quality and student success. The Faculty of Social and Community Services requires part-time Facilitators to teach practicum classes in the Firefighter - Preservice Education and Training program
- A relevant degree with industry credentials. A relevant Master’s Degree is an asset.
- A minimum of five years of recent (within the past three years) and relevant work experience.
- Knowledge of the National Association for Fire Prevention (NFPA) training standards.
- NFPA Firefighter I and II.
- NFPA 1072 Hazmat Awareness and Operations.
- NFPA 1041 Fire Service Instructor I and II.
- EMR and EMR Instructor is an asset.
- Demonstrated commitment to putting the student experience first.
- Proven track record of life-long learning.
- Demonstrated ability to work effectively with a variety of internal and external stakeholders including students, faculty, support staff, administrators and community stakeholders.
- Understanding of the Ontario college system.

**Required Skills**:
Required Experience
