Thompson Construction Group has an immediate opening for a Packer Operator in our Edmonton area of operations.

**Responsibilities**:

- Operates equipment in successive overlapping passes over surfaces to be compacted, rolling subgrade to desired compaction and smoothness
- Able / willing to labour when required
- Perform work in a safe manner in accordance with Thompson Infrastructure Ltd.’s safe work practices, policies and procedures
- Report all incidents, near-misses, and damage of equipment to site supervision
- Ability to identify hazards
- Must be dependable and reliable

**Qualifications**:

- 1 year minimum experience in the Water and Sewer Industry
- Physically able to lift 50 lbs
- Clean Class 5 Valid Driver’s License
- Minimum 18 years of age
