We are looking for a temporary Recruiter (initially for 3 months contract with possible extension) to support with the expansion of our projects, with a heavy focus on the cannabis industry. As our Recruiter, you will be responsible for ensuring the efficiency in our hiring processes, conducting recruitment efforts for a variety of positions across Seed & Stone. Reporting to the HR Manager, you will work with department leads to help bring in great people. The positions you’ll hire for will be heavily focussed on retail store employees like Budtenders and Store Managers, and may include other corporate roles in entry level, specialists and leadership roles.

**What you’ll** **do**:

- Being the main point of contact for applicants
- Innovate on ways to build a talent pipeline and recruit in a variety of venues
- Use your curiosity to deeply understand all roles in the recruitment process
- Work with the HR Manager to identify talent gaps, develop compelling job ads
- Take part in various social media campaigns and recruitment events such as career fairs, industry conferences, school forums
- Coordinate offer letters and onboarding processes

**In order to be successful, you bring**:

- 1 year experience as a recruiter and passion for finding the best talent
- Retail/cannabis experience recruiting store level employees an asset
- Strong verbal, communication and interpersonal skills
- Strong writing skills
- Strong task prioritization
- Ability to adapt in a new and growing industry
- Recruiting best practices concerning tracking, communication, follow ups
- Work well under tight deadlines

**Job Type**: Part-time
Part-time hours: 10-25 per week

**Salary**: $17.00-$19.00 per hour

Schedule:

- Day shift
- Monday to Friday
