**The Opportunity**:
USI. is currently seeking a self-motivated and enthusiastic, IT Support Technician to join our Port Coquitlam, BC office. **Salary Range**: $55,000 - $80,000 annually

**What we are looking for**:
The Responsibilities of this role include but are not limited to the following:
IT User Support
- Acts as the ‘first line’ of customer support, answering calls and queuing them up for resolution by the IT team.
- Logs activities in our internally developed management information system, proactively follows up with users regarding open tickets, and tracks problem resolution steps.
- Supporting our Western Canada offices with IT related items.
- Troubleshoots and resolves hardware and software related issues.
- Assists with user training, answering user questions, IT orientation and onboarding for new users.
- Seeks continuous improvement of Information Technology systems & processes.
- Printer maintenance such as toner change and servicing.
- When required, install, configure, test, maintain, monitor, and troubleshoot associated end user workstation software and networking software products.
- When required, install, configure, test, maintain, monitor, and troubleshoot associated Microsoft windows server software and networking software products.
- Will require occasional lifting of computer equipment.
- Other duties as assigned.

IT Project Support
- Assists with Windows 11 deployment program.
- Assists with Server OS deployment program.
- Assists with administration of Active Directory
- Assists with Office 365 deployment program.
- Provides additional support to the IT Department as needed, on an ongoing basis.

**Experience and Education**:

- Post-secondary education in a Computer Science or Information Technology, a related field or relevant experience in a similar role.
- 2-4 years of experience in IT Support / Helpdesk role.
- Recent experience in installation and configuration of Microsoft Windows and Server operating systems, RAID configuration, iDrac configuration, and installation of appropriate licensing.
- Skilled in the setup and management of Active Directory and group policies.
- Experience in a customer service role would be an asset.
- Working knowledge of networking tools and technologies such as IPConfig, DHCP, DNS, LAN.
