The expected pay for this position is $68,932 at 1.0 FTE or at $34,466 at 0.5 FTE per annum.
The Research Associate will play an important role in the management of the MATRIX-N Research Excellence Cluster in accordance with the specific aims approved in the grant renewal process. Key duties include providing oversight of all cluster activities, including supervising the Junior Scholars Program, facilitating a Community Advisory Group of PWLLE, preparing a monthly cluster newsletter, organizing monthly rounds and other cluster events, and liaising with research partners and other clusters to identify opportunities for collaborative research projects.
The role will also support the close collaboration between MATRIX-N and the new Canadian Academy for Addiction Psychiatry (CAAP), in an effort to establish a national clinical trial network in substance use and concurrent disorders - helping create a national inventory of clinical trials and research expertise; performing a Delphi study on research capacity and priorities in the field by surveying researchers, clinicians, patients, and partners across Canada; preparing a manuscript for publication which aims to summarize the Canadian landscape and propose a plan of action to address substance use and concurrent disorders through clinical research.
Minimum Qualifications:
- Applicants will have a PhD in Neuroscience.
