Job Overview:
**Duties**:

- Review project plans, specifications, and other relevant documents to understand project requirements
- Conduct quantity take-offs and prepare detailed cost estimates for labor, materials, equipment, and subcontractor services
- Collaborate with project managers, engineers, and architects to ensure accurate estimation of project costs
- Research and analyze historical data, market trends, and industry benchmarks to support cost estimation
- Build relationships with suppliers, subcontractors, and vendors to obtain competitive pricing for materials and services
- Prepare bid proposals and negotiate pricing with clients
- Monitor project costs throughout the construction process and provide cost analysis reports as needed

**Experience**:

- Proven experience in construction estimating, preferably in the [industry/sector]
- Proficiency in using construction estimating software such as Bluebeam
- Strong knowledge of construction materials, methods, and processes
- Excellent mathematical and analytical skills
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and specifications
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy in cost estimation
- Effective communication skills to collaborate with internal teams, clients, suppliers, and subcontractors
