**Position**:Head Coach of Power FC Academy Junior teams U8 - U12

**Reports To**: Technical Director

**Pay Grade**:Based on Qualifications

**Starting Date**: As soon as possible

**Closing Date**: November 18th 2024

**Level**:Part Time

**Position Summary**: Power Soccer is currently seeking various age group head coaches who will be working alongside the club’s Technical Director, developing and overseeing the implementation of the clubs game model while also maximizing the experience for players, assistant coaches and club members.

**Responsibilities**:

- Learn/understand and execute the Power Soccer identity, game model and principles.
- Plan 2-3 training sessions a week
- Manage team on match days.
- Coordinate and work together with the assistant coach.
- Communicate with Technical and Academy Director.
- Ability to design, lead and implement training sessions based on the 5 functions of the game.
- Provide direction and mentorship to the desired age group.
- Create and document all session plans using provided template/software.
- Show high level of communication skills with players/parents.
- Support all club programs and initiatives.
- Attend all club provided coach education days: Classroom and Field.
- Attend all meetings with Technical Director and other coaches.
- Analyze and present findings to players, parents and the Technical Director
- Provide player feedback.

- Making Ethical Decisions
- Learn to Train
- Minimum 2 years coaching experience
- Ability to work evenings and weekends.
- Resourceful, enthusiastic, focused and motivated to find solutions
- Great communication skills and a team player
- Strong work ethic and flexible attitude
- Possess a working Visa to be eligible to work in Canada
- Adaptable to coach at various ages and levels of ability
- Use of a vehicle

**Job Type**: Part-time

Expected hours: 10 - 20 per week

Schedule:

- Evening shift
- Weekends as needed
