The **Associate Merchandise Planner** is responsible for strategic execution of inventory flow, including optimization of inventory supply quantification and deployment to maximize OMNI consumer demands. This role is an essential part of a cross functional enterprise, collaborating with merchandising, store operations and our 3PL network.

**_As our Associate Merchandise Planner, your responsibilities will include: _**
- Drive strategic execution of inventory flow through establishment & adjustment of inventory parameters to impact replenishment and allocation activities.
- Leverage systems, tools, and data to optimize inventory investments across store locations, distribution center and ecommerce.
- Analyze historical data and current trends to identify risks and opportunities to business and recommend strategies to achieve financial goals.
- Exhibit initiative to look beyond the everyday business to look for opportunities to maximize sales potential.
- Execute detailed analysis to drive category performance.
- Recommend seasonal merchandise flow strategies that maximize sales and DTC consumer experience.
- Drive order creation and execution of new seasonal product buys.
- Responsible for inventory allocation and replenishment on a weekly basis or as needed.
- Drive all seasonal transition related activities linked to merchandise management i.e.. In and out of products.
- Assist in reviewing reserved inventory levels and making the necessary adjustments.
- Maintain price files for new product and markdowns as directed by manager.
- Responsible for communication with DSMs / store managers on inventory related questions.
- Work with coordinating departments as needed to maintain product flow.
- Work with Inventory team on coordinating accessory purchases, distribution and allocation.

**_If you have_**
- College certificate or University degree is required.
- 1-3 years merchandise planning experience.
- SAP knowledge and experience.
- Expert knowledge of Excel is required.
- Excellent team player as well as the ability to work independently.
- Effective communication skills (written & verbal).
- Extremely organized, thorough and able to prioritize.
- Detail oriented.
- Strong ability to see the merchandise vision and translate the vision into viable plans.
- Results oriented - strong sense of motivation.
- Self-directed problem solver, proactive and resourceful.
- Responsible, dependable and mature, with sound judgment.
