Production Assistant

**What are we looking for?**

We have a great opportunity for an individual who would like to work in a fully equipped shop and work on unique projects that involves designing, building, and installing high end custom cabinetry for a long-lasting functional and luxury experience in our clients’ spaces.
- Assist with production planning and maintenance of scheduling.
- Cover for Production Manager on their absence.
- Monitor production planning and keep a check on quality, process and timelines.
- Review timesheets and punch cards.
- Review technical drawings and filling out material breakout sheets then providing for costing.
- Prepare reports and enter details into computer.
- Ensure proper Health and Safety regulations and company policies are respected.
- Perform other job-related duties as assigned from time to time.

**Requirements**:

- High School Diploma.
- 2+ years’ experience in a manufacturing capacity.
- 2+ years’ experience in the millwork/exhibit field or construction industry.

**Required Skills and Abilities**:

- Ability to read construction drawings.
- Good Knowledge of Outlook and Microsoft Excel.
- Excellent organizational skills, good time and deadline management.
- Available to work early mornings/ long days as needed.
- Demonstrates good judgment in examining and resolving problems and respects the confidentiality of company business and customers.
- Maintains positive work relationship with co-workers and is a good team member.
- Ability to interpret a variety of instructions either in written, oral, diagram, and/or schedule format.
- Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals.

- Ability to lift 15 lbs
