**Overview**

**Duties**
- Safely operate company vehicles to transport goods to designated locations.
- Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections of vehicles to ensure safety and compliance.
- Load and unload freight, ensuring proper handling of materials.
- Maintain accurate delivery logs and documentation.
- Communicate effectively with dispatchers and other team members regarding delivery schedules and any issues encountered during transport.
- Assist with basic automotive repairs as needed to ensure vehicle reliability.
- Operate forklifts and heavy equipment when necessary for loading and unloading tasks.
- Adhere to all local traffic laws and company policies regarding safety.

**Requirements**:

- Valid commercial driving license (CDL) preferred with Manual Transmission with 2 years minimum experience in commercial driving.
- Strong knowledge of automotive repair principles; ability to perform minor repairs is advantageous.
- Experience operating forklifts and heavy equipment is preferred.
- Familiarity with freight handling procedures and safety regulations.
- Excellent time management skills with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively.
- Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, for effective interaction with team members and clients.
- Must be able to pass background checks as required by company policy.
- Ability to lift heavy loads safely (up to 50 pounds) as part of loading/unloading duties.

- Night shift
- On call
- Weekends as needed

Licence/Certification:

- Class 1 Licence (preferred)
