**Overview**

**Responsibilities**
- Safely operate trucks and heavy equipment to transport goods to designated locations.
- Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections of vehicles to ensure safety and compliance.
- Load and unload freight, ensuring proper handling of materials.
- Maintain accurate logs of driving hours, vehicle maintenance, and delivery records.
- Communicate effectively with dispatchers and other team members regarding delivery schedules and any issues that arise during transport.
- Adhere to all local, state, and federal regulations regarding transportation.
- Perform minor automotive repairs as needed to ensure vehicle readiness.

**Requirements**:

- **Valid BC Class 1 Driver’s License**:

- **Minimum 1 year of verifiable driving experience**:

- Clean driving record and ability to pass a drug test and background check
- Willingness to travel long distance, including cross-border and overnight trips (preferred but **not required** — if you do not have a U.S. visa, **intra-Canada runs are available**)
- Familiarity with GPS, onboard computers, and navigation systems
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to safety protocols
- Organized, dependable, and able to work independently or as part of a team
