**Job Summary**:
Reporting to the General Manager, as Operations Manager you will oversee the efficient operation of all functions of a new Wastewater/Waste Oil Treatment Facility. A strategic thinker striving for excellence with customer service levels, employee engagement, and financial performance.

**Primary Duties and Responsibilities**:

- Oversee all Facility operations and employees ensuring effective supervision and support to meet performance standards.
- Manage and coordinate daily activities, including wastewater/oil collection, staffing, plant operations and the maintenance of plant through regular inspections and preventive maintenance programs.
- Lead financial management efforts, including the planning, administration and monitoring of the Facility budgets.
- Ensure adherence to company safety programs and policies. Review and monitor all safety issues to implement corrective actions and ensure compliance with legislation and contract obligations.
- Collaborate with the General Manager in the development of both short-term and long-term goals, policies, and objectives for the Facility. Lead the administration and implementation of action plans to meet or exceed Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) and budget forecasts.
- Conduct various studies, self-audits, and investigations, and make recommendations for modifications to operations, policies, and procedures.
- Monitor productivity, trends, and efficiency, and implement changes for continuous improvement.
- Coordinate with the maintenance department to ensure all operational equipment is properly maintained and available through timely preventative maintenance programs.

**Required Knowledge, Skills, Abilities, and Experience**:

- Previous experience in a management or leadership role within a waste management, treatment, or a related industry preferred.
- Combination of education and/or experience in Facility Management, Operations Management, or a related field.
- Background in environmental services or operational management is an asset.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite for reporting and communication.
- Understanding of budgeting and financial reporting.
- Ability to develop and manage capital budgets and monitor performance against financial targets.
- Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to anticipate challenges and proactively implement solutions to enhance operational efficiency.
- Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, to effectively interface with senior leadership, customers, and employees.
- Ability to build and sustain productive relationships with clients, vendors, and stakeholders.
- Experience in leading safety programs and ensuring compliance with company policies and regulatory requirements.
