Metro Hardwood Floors Ltd is a well-established flooring company in Calgary, Alberta since 2001. We are professional, customer-centric, and creative, and looking forward to adding you to our sales team. Working around residential interior flooring, the focus will be on the retail and new construction and renovation work. We are searching for a highly motivated individual who is capable of both selling a job in a consultative manner as well as managing the sold project through completion. A significant portion of business will be a result of both our strong reputation as well as walk-in traffic at our local showroom. It is also expected that each Sales Consultant will proactively build a clientele to support their business, including previous clients, interior designers, architects, builders, and contractors.
- **Position/Responsibilities Overview**:_
Responsibilities will include but will not be limited to:
*Utilization of consultative selling skills to build relationships
*Effectively communicating the features and benefits of our services
*Manning the showroom and sold jobs
*Writing job quotations/contracts
*Project management
*Some knowledge of construction, interior finishes, and flooring
*Excellent organizational, written/oral skills in English
*A track record of meeting and exceeding sales quotas
*Must have own car
*Has excellent interpersonal skills
*Able to manage multiple projects at once and adapt quickly to change
*Able to work effectively with others in a team environment and is a team player
