**Manager - Data Operations**

Rogers is seeking a **Manager** to lead Data Warehouse activiteis involving Oracle, Informatica, PowerBI, Tableau, Hadoop, SAS, Business Objects etc. Reporting to the Director - BI & Platform Operations of Enterprise Data & Analytics (ED&A) at the Rogers Park Brampton and Toronto Campuses, this individual will be responsible for ensuring platform and data availability across the data warehouse platforms.

**What You’ll be doing**:
**Manage Full time employees**
- Manage a team of Data Operations Support analysts (Oracle, Informatica, PowerBI, Tableau, Hadoop, SAS, Business Objects) including both full time and vendor resources.
- Conduct regulare performance reviews
- Mentoring & coaching (SME knowledge, industry best practices, design standards)
- Hiring employees and build their development plans and track constantantly to achieve the objectives.

**Stakeholder Management**
- Manage relationships and expectations with Stakeholders.
- Vendor Management and Manage vendor resource engagements
- Manage vendor deliverables to ensure compliance to Rogers standards
- Drive vendor efficiencies through automation \ optimization of processes
- Manage vendor SLAs to ensure compliance and quality

**Operations Management**
- Ensure platform and data availability to exceed availability SLAs
- Manage capacity and platform planning
- Drive incident recovery and problem management
- Co-ordinate change management activities across delivery and operations teams
- Drive efficiencies through automation and optimization
- Drive platform roadmaps to ensure currency and capacity
- Driving Process and Tool improvements to optimize Rogers operations and cost efficiencies.
- Lead and participate in teams to meet fast-paced deliverables with quality and efficiency.
- Work closely with the ED&A Delivery teams to successfully deliver and support in operations project deliverables

**What you will bring**:

- Minimum 3 years of experience in managing employees
- Minimum of 5 year of Platform Operations \ Application Production Support.
- Data Warehouse management experience (Oracle, Informatica, PowerBI, Tableau, Hadoop, SAS, Business Objects) will be an asset.
- Proficient with SQL queries, query optimization and table design.
- Ability to multi-task on multiple high priority projects \ deliverables.
- Proven passion for driving process improvements
- Strong Oral & Written communication skills
