**Job Overview**:
We are seeking an experienced and detail-oriented **Accounts and Billing Specialist** to join our team. This role plays a key part in maintaining financial operations, ensuring timely invoicing and payments, and supporting our logistics operations.

**Responsibilities**:
1. **Daily Bookkeeping**: Accurately manage and update accounts for all transactions.

2. **Payroll Management**: Process payroll for drivers and owner-operators, ensuring accuracy and timeliness.

3. **Load Invoicing**: Prepare and issue invoices for completed freight loads.

4. **Receivables Management**: Follow up on pending payments to maintain healthy cash flow.

6. **Vendor Payments**: Prepare and process payments for vendor partners.

**Qualifications**:

- **Education**: Diploma or degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field (or equivalent experience).
- **Experience**: 2+ years in bookkeeping, invoicing, or similar roles; logistics experience is a plus.

**Skills**:

- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Excellent communication and follow-up abilities.
- Knowledge of payroll systems and accounts receivable processes.

**Work Ethic**: A proactive team player who can work independently in a fast-paced environment.
