Join our team as a an Overnight Client Service Coordinator As a Client Service Coordinator on our team, you'll be a key player in an interdisciplinary team dedicated to transforming lives. Reporting to the Transitional Housing Supervisor, you'll be the first point of contact to individuals in our YW Transitional Housing Program, helping clients navigate their journey through homelessness, addiction, mental health challenges, and domestic violence. In this role, you'll build meaningful connections, craft personalized service plans, and connect clients to essential resources to achieve their goals.

**This is a full-time permanent role working 37.5 hours per week, 9:00 pm
- 5:00 am, Sunday-Thursday. This role is not eligible for a hybrid work arrangement.**

**WHAT YOU’LL DO**

**Service Delivery**
- Engage clients using a strengths base approach and utilizing YW Calgary values and principles
- Assess client needs and support with the development and implementation of a client-centered service
- Regular consultation with CCM regarding acuity and level of care needed
- Identify services and resources appropriate to the clients’ service plan, support clients with community referrals to various services and resources, attend appointments as needed and advocate on clients’ behalf
- Coordinate referrals with mental health, community engagement and housing teams
- Other duties as required

**Administration**
- Adhere to sound record keeping and documentation practices, including safe storage of confidential information, timely data entry, and objective case notes
- Maintain documentation and records in accordance with program policies and organizational standards

**Tenant Services and Rent Management**
- Support clients with rent collection and proactive plans when arrears or concerns arise
- Collection of rent, generating of arrears report and issuing appropriate notices, rent refunds and other rent related business to clients in collaboration with other team members
- Actively address rent arrears by reviewing outstanding accounts on a regular basis and preparing notification appropriate to the situation
- Provide a monthly report to the Supervisor on rent arrears

**Professional Development**
- Demonstrate a commitment to continuous learning and improvement; adhere to training requirements, set professional development goals and engage in various learning opportunities.
- Proactively maintain knowledge of best practices related to issues that impact clients such as homelessness, addiction, domestic violence, and mental health.
- Attend and engage in staff meetings, supervision meetings, and team building meetings as required.
- Participate in activities in support of the organizational goals, i.e. Women’s March and fundraising, etc.
- Build professional, collaborative and effective working relationships with other team members and other internal and external stakeholders and partners.

**WHAT YOU’LL BRING**
- Post-secondary education in Human Services with at least two years of related experience, a combination of experience and education may be considered.
- Experience with Tenant relations considered an asset
- Current CPR and First Aid Certification, ASIST,
- Knowledge of issues specific to women experiencing homelessness including poverty, trauma, domestic violence, addictions and mental
- Experience working with diverse populations (including vulnerable and marginalized populations).
- Conflict management, de-escalation and resolution
- Proficient in the use of computers and software including Microsoft Word, Outlook and Excel
- Strong written communication skills and ability to complete case notes and other documentation
- Excellent communication, relationship building and organizational
- Commitment to empowering women through a strengths-based
- Ability to work well under pressure
