Assistant Produce Packing Operator

**_ASSISTANT PRODUCE PACKING OPERATOR_**
**Responsibilities**:
- Working with the Giro Machine to package produce, ensuring that 100% accuracy and quality goals are met.
- Providing directions to staff while packing on the line.
- Maintaining organized space during production - collecting produce, disposing of trash, moving boxes and pallets.
- Completing all individual and team work while staying on pace during the day and finishing on time.
- Other projects and responsibilities that may arise, as required.
**Qualifications**:
- Experience with packaging machines would be an asset.
- Must be mechanically-inclined/understand operations of mechanical equipment.
- Excellent verbal, non-verbal and written communication skills.
- Must have a basic understanding of Mathematics.
- Must be a team player, adaptable, and energetic with a positive & professional attitude.
- Must demonstrate the ability to work unsupervised and meet key deadlines.
- Ability to work in a high-paced environment.
- Must possess good time management skills.
- Be highly organized; knowledgeable and follow the company’s policies and procedures.
- Must be able to adhere to the company vaccination policy.
Salary and benefits commensurate with experience.
