- Responsible for producing, inspecting and shipping products
- As part of a team, work to maximize productivity and efficiencies
- Inspect unfolded/folded cartons prior to feed to identify any defects
- Maintains feed section of gluer by placing product to be glued into feed in an orderly manner
- Monitors feeds to detect machine jams/malfunctions
- Maintains catching section of gluer by keeping corrugate and other supplies orderly
- Performs visual quality inspections of folded/glued cartons
- Maintains work area in an organized and neat fashion
- Assists in setup, cleanup and preventative maintenance tasks
- Communicates effectively with supervisor/lead hand any equipment or packaging problems
- **Other duties as assigned and required**

**Safety**:

- Support GPI safety programs and training
- Maintains safe and healthy work environment by following standards and procedures, complying with legal codes and regulations, and company policies

**Job Requirements**:

- High School Diploma/GED
- At least one year experience in a manufacturing environment preferred
- Ability to work in a fast paced environment while meeting deadlines safely
- Ability to interact with customers, co-workers and managers in a professional and courteous manner
- Critical Thinking
- Reading Comprehension/Writing/Mathematical Skills
- Hand/Eye coordination
- Complex Problem Solving

**Physical Requirements**:

- Standing for extended periods of time up to 12 hours
- Able to frequently lift, bend, squat, reach and push
- Awkward and/or repetitive movements
- Lifting up to 25 lbs.
- Use of packing equipment
- Use of hand jack/dollies
- Required to drive forklift/low lift

**Shift Schedule: Must be able to work rotating shifts in a 24/7 production facility**
