The Project Delivery Coordinator - Infrastructure Division is responsible for coordinating and administering the planning, development, procurement, design and construction of multiple capital works and infrastructure projects, as directed.

The The Project Delivery Coordinator - Infrastructure Division will:

- Write briefing papers, business cases, submissions, reports and presentations to facilitate the approval of projects.
- Coordinate the planning, execution, monitoring, reporting, and closing of various projects.
- Track open action items, issues and risks and ensure timely resolution.
- Provide construction and design coordination advice to the appointed Project Manager.
- Prepare requests for proposal; participate in the selection of consultants and contractors.
- Assist with the preparation of project cost estimates and progress reports. Prepare high level schedules for project delivery and resource management purposes.
- Assist in overseeing site investigation, topographic surveys and other pre-construction contracts.
- Coordinate and participate in communication and consultation with project stakeholders, including municipalities, road and rail authorities’ adjacent communities and First Nations.
- Coordinate and administer construction activities: inspect and record construction activities and progress.
- Report on project status through various internal VFPA tracking systems. Prepare and/or check progress claims. Participate in the preparation of monthly project status reports.
- Perform other assigned duties as required.
