Commercial Logistics Inc. is currently offering an enticing opportunity for a Class 1 Driver to become a part of our esteemed trucking team located in Nanaimo, B.C.

**About Commercial Logistics Inc.**:Commercial Logistic Inc. is BC’s premier private beverage alcohol distributor, offering both less-than-truckload (LTL) and truckload (FTL) service to all points in the Province of BC. We are a division of ContainerWorld Forwarding Service Inc. under the Mullen Group. The Mullen Group is a publicly trading company on the TSX.

**Position**: Class 1 Driver

** Hours**: Weekdays day shift (8-10 Hours Shift)

** Hourly Rate**:$32.45 per hour

** Position Overview**:
Local delivery driver within Vancouver Island. Our trucks are on a full maintenance program and our trailers are well maintained to ensure smooth operations - we want you driving, not trouble shooting mechanical issues Our typical delivery routes include about 50% pallet deliveries and 50% hand-cart deliveries; there certainly is an amount of physical work but we aren’t lugging around heavy produce all day every day.

Daily pre and post trip vehicle inspections. Completion of daily trips logs. Delivery of packaged and kegged goods to licensee locations. Drive in a safe and professional manner. Report any faults or safety issues pertaining to vehicle to Warehouse Supervisor.

**Required Skills, Knowledge and Competencies**

- Hold a valid Class 1 Driver’s License with a clean commercial driver’s abstract
- Be physically fit and able to repeatedly lift, stack, pull and carry heavy items (60+ lbs)
- Strong communication and customer service skills with English fluency
- Be bondable
- Have at least 6 months Class 1 Driving Experience
- Previous professional driving experience preferred
- Basic mechanical abilities an asset
