We are currently in search of exceptional Class 1 Drivers, just like you, to join our team at PacRim Distribution in Nanaimo

PacRim Distribution, a warehousing and trucking company located in Nanaimo, providing direct store delivery to business establishment through Vancouver Island is looking for Class 1 Drivers. PacRim is a subsidiary of ContainerWorld Group of Companies with its head office in Richmond B.C.

**Position**: Class 1 Driver

**Location**: Nanaimo

**Hours**: Tuesdays to Fridays (10 hours day shift)

**Position Overview**:

- Delivers products to commercial businesses. Interacts with customers in a professional manner to deliver and provide information in response to inquiries, concerns and requests about products and services.

**Duties**:

- Approximately 30% warehouse related work; 70% driving
- Loading & unloading freight
- Delivering freight on power tailgates
- Daily Pre and Post Trip Vehicle Inspections.
- Operating forklift and power hand jacks as required

**Required Skills, Knowledge and Competencies**:

- Geographical knowledge of Vancouver Island is an asset
- You must be physically fit and able to repeatedly lift 30lbs
- Must have a valid Class 1 license
- Customer-centric approach and excellent communication and listening skills
- Criminal Record check required

Ability to convert to full time position upon meeting criteria. Extended Health Benefits available upon achieving full time status.
