**Job Details**:

- Job Position: AZ Flatbed Driver with Lift Truck - CITY
- Location: 400 McNeilly Road, Stoney Creek, ON.
- Hourly Wage: $30-31 for experienced flatbed driver with forklift (preferably moffett experience).
- Benefits: Company-paid group medical, dental and insurance.
- Overtime: Paid after 44 hours
- Sign-On Bonus: $2,000

**Job Duties**:

- Truck Drivers will operate a truck and trailer and occasionally straight trucks to transport and deliver goods to construction sites and pickup materials as required.
- May be required to load and unload truck. Drivers may be required to use automated routing equipment.
- Responsible for compliance with hours of service (logs), cargo securement, weights and dimensions and vehicle inspections.
- Inspect vehicles, equipment and load at start of day, enroute and after delivery, to ensure that mechanical, safety, and emergency equipment is in good working order (circle check).
- Maneuver trucks into loading or unloading positions, following signals from loading crew as needed; check that vehicle position is correct and any special loading equipment is properly positioned.
- Report vehicle defects, repairs requirements, accidents, traffic violations, or damage to the vehicles.
- Check all load-related documentation to ensure that it is complete and accurate.
- Operate equipment such as truck cab computers, CB radios, e-logs, and cell phones to exchange necessary information with bases, supervisors, or other drivers.
- Record and maintain required documentation including driver logbook, bills of lading, etc. by manual or electronic means.
- Communicate effectively with the public, customers, and co-workers both verbally and in written form.
- Clean-up any debris caused by the loading/unloading of truck.
- Provide feedback to supervision regarding customer problems, mechanical problems, or delivery problems.
- Complete all necessary paperwork at the end of the shift. May include, but not limited to, daily logs, inspection logs, delivery receipts, vehicle inspection, hours of service, etc.

**Requirements**:

- AZ driver's license with a **minimum of 3 years experience**.
- Lift truck experience. (Moffett preferred but will train on Moffett if required).
- High School Diploma, GED or equivalent.
- Computer Literate.
- Strong mechanical aptitude with ability to perform routine vehicle maintenance.
- Demonstrated organizational skills with strong oral and written communication abilities.
- Exceptional organizational abilities with task prioritization, multi-tasking, use of timelines and time management techniques.
- Strong work ethic and personal integrity.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
- Able to work under mínimal supervision.

**Work Conditions**:

- Travel required within Ontario.
- Will be required to work both indoors and outdoors.
- E-logs (training provided)
- Able to work overtime as required (Weekend work may be required on occasion).
- Ability to lift 100 pounds with assistance.
