Northlander Industries is located in Exeter, Ontario and is Canada’s leading manufacturer of Park Model and Modular Homes. We are currently seeking an enthusiastic individual to become the Human Resources/Health & Safety Manager.

GENERAL SKILLS:

- Ability to execute multiple tasks simultaneously, efficiently and within a pre-determined time frame

- Ability to communicate effectively with all levels of the organization
- Highly flexible with excellent written and oral communication skills
- Must be flexible and have the ability to manage ever changing priorities

RESPONSIBILITIES:
HUMAN RESOURCES
- Perform all HR functions such as recruiting and selection, performance management, training, compensation, health and safety, employee relations, benefits, company programs and initiatives
- Provide support and guidance in performance management and HR best practices
- Be experienced with complex and personal employee relations issues - spend time on production floor and be visible to team members

HEALTH & SAFETY
- Take part in developing, implementing, monitoring, and evaluating workplace health and safety action plans
- Participate in planning, implementation, and evaluation of safety initiatives
- Coordinate safety and training programs to ensure workers are adequately trained, based on the need develop and maintain related training records
- Provide leadership and knowledge of Occupational Health and Safety legislation, WSIB policies and procedures, ergonomics, and environmental monitoring
- Provide health and safety support to plant, office and field personnel by maintaining visible presence in the workplace and being available for consultation

EXPERIENCE/EDUCATION:

- CHRP designation or related education
- 5 years of experience in human resources, preferably in a manufacturing environment

**Salary**: $75,000.00-$100,000.00 per year
