Reporting directly to the Supervisor, Fitness, the Aqua Fitness Instructor is responsible for providing safe, quality instruction to meet the needs of Members.

**Responsibilities**:

- Provide a welcoming and inclusive environment for members and guests
- Ensure a safe environment for members and guests by routinely checking any equipment and keeping areas clean and well maintained
- Ensure classes start on time and using approved music

**Qualifications**:

- Criminal Reference Check (CPIC) including Vulnerable Sector Check completed not more than 120 days prior to date of hire, with results acceptable to the YMCA of Eastern Ontario|
- Current Standard First Aid and CPR-C
- Current Aqua Fitness Instructor Certification
