Our company is a leading industrial supply company that supplies the mining, construction, pulp and paper industries in Northwestern Ontario. We are currently looking to immediately hire a energetic part-time warehouse person to expand our team and assist in the day-to-day operations of our warehouse with the potential of full-time hours. - Self-starter with an appetite for learning new skills and increase knowledge about the products offered.
- Experience with Huck bolts, fasteners and rivets considered a major asset.
- Must be punctual and a team player that would enjoy working in a small office environment.
- Attention to details and strong organizational skills is a must.
- Familiar with Microsoft Office, Accpac, Data Inquiry and Entry experience an asset.
- Have mechanical aptitude as it relates to heavy and industrial equipment.
- WHMIS Training and forklift certification. (willing to provide)
- Have Valid Class G license, able to drive flatbed delivery truck, with a clean driver’s abstract.
- Strong work ethic and physically fit with the ability to lift, push and carry 80-100lbs.
- Must pass a Mechanical Aptitude test within industry standards.
- Previous Warehouse experience - Preferred but not necessary.

**Duties will include**:

- Day-to-day shipping/receiving/warehouse functions and ensure orders are picked and packed up correctly.
- Building Huck bolt, fastener and rivet kits.
- Loading and unloading trucks with forklift equipment.
- Inventory control functions related to annual inventory and monitoring stock levels.
- Deliveries within or around the City of Thunder Bay using a ¾ ton flatbed delivery truck.
- Maintain a clean and organized warehouse and yard.
- Organize product and general upkeep of the warehouse, yard maintenance as required.
- Gain customer service skills as it relates to counter sales, telephone inquiries.
- Record keeping and data entry as required with attention to detail.
- Ability to work independently within a small office environment.

- Flexible part-time hours with the potential of full-time hours with occasional overtime for this current position. Hours of operation are normally 8 to 5.
