**Job Summary**:
Reporting to the Production Manager, the Supervisor will oversee and coordinate the assembly and production activities of electromechanical components and systems. They will set day-to-day activities to support the attainment of safety, quality, delivery and cost goals. This role requires a strong technical background in electromechanical engineering, exceptional leadership skills, and a keen eye for quality control. The Supervisor will work closely with production teams, engineers, and management to ensure the smooth execution of manufacturing processes, adherence to safety protocols, and achievement of production targets. They will monitor team performance, drive productivity, and promote a problem-solving and collaborative culture.

**Responsibilities**:
Supervision and Leadership
- Responsible for team level manufacturing performance, including safety, quality, efficiency, delivery, and cost.
- Lead, motivate, and mentor a team of assembly technicians and production workers.
- Assign tasks and responsibilities to team members, ensuring optimal resource
- Providing training and ensuring that qualified team members are assigned to the appropriate tasks.
- Provide leadership, feedback, coaching and support development for individual team members.
- Lead the daily stand-up meeting, ensuring daily preparation and communication boards are up to date.
- Partner with Planning/Materials functions to develop a schedule that meets production requirements/commitments.
- Ensure all team members understand their duties and delegated tasks.
- Set productivity standards and deadlines for tasks within the team’s control.
- Promote process and quality improvement.
- Submit performance reports;
- Promote and execute company policies and procedures.
- In collaboration with the Production Manager, oversee staffing requirements and performance management of the team;
- Foster a positive and collaborative work environment that encourages productivity, innovation, and continuous improvement.
- Foster a team culture that upholds company values.

Production Coordination
- Plan and coordinate daily production schedules, ensuring efficient utilization of resources and meeting production targets.
- Collaborate with production planners, engineers, and other relevant stakeholders to ensure seamless production processes.

Quality Control
- Implement and enforce strict quality control measures to ensure that assembled products meet or exceed quality standards and specifications.
- Conduct regular inspections and audits to identify defects, discrepancies, and areas for improvement.
- Implement corrective and preventive actions to address quality issues promptly. Promote safety, reliability and quality by identifying problem areas, root cause and implementing corrective action plans in a timely manner to mitigate risk.

Technical Expertise
- Possess a deep understanding of electromechanical components, systems, and assembly processes.
- Provide technical guidance and support to assembly teams, troubleshooting technical issues as they arise.

Safety Compliance
- Enforce strict adherence to safety protocols, ensuring a safe working environment for all employees.
- Conduct safety training sessions and drills to enhance awareness and reduce risks.

Process Improvement
- Identify opportunities for process optimization and efficiency enhancement within the assembly and production workflows.
- Collaborate with engineers and management to implement process improvements and best practices.

Reporting and Documentation
- Maintain accurate records of production activities, including production outputs, quality metrics, and any incidents.
- Generate regular reports on production performance, highlighting achievements, challenges, and recommended actions.

Communication
- Facilitate clear communication between production teams, engineers, and management regarding production schedules, goals, and any issues that may arise.
