Position Overview:
As our Special Education Specialist, you will:

- Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) for students with learning differences, autism, ADHD, and other exceptionalities
- Support and coach tutors to adapt teaching strategies
- Work directly with students in 1:1 or small group settings
- Collaborate with families and external professionals (SLPs, BCBAs, etc.)
- Assist with tutor training and inclusive curriculum development
- Help manage documentation and ensure OAP or ministry compliance (where applicable)

Qualifications:
Bachelor’s Degree in Education (B.Ed. or equivalent)

OCT certification with Special Education AQ (Part 1, 2, or Specialist)

Experience working with students with diverse needs

Strong understanding of IEPs, accommodations, and inclusive practices

Ability to collaborate with therapists and educators

Excellent communication, organization, and empathy

Nice to Have:

- BCBA, ABA training, or experience with OAP-funded families
- Knowledge of Ontario curriculum (Grades K-12)
- French or Arabic is an asset
