The Opportunity

The Hotel at the Waldorf is
a famed cultural hub in the heart of East Vancouver. From the iconic Polynesian
themed Tiki Bar and venues Tabu and the Hideaway, to our retro hotel rooms,
Hotel at the Waldorf has you stepping back in time to relive different eras of
Vancouver. Hotel at the Waldorf is an experience to be explored with a sense of
whimsy and a relaxed attitude. We are looking for an attentive and motivated
Housekeeping Manager to join our hardworking and dedicated team.

What You’ll Do:

- Establish and implement operational procedures for

the housekeeping department
- Plan, direct, co-ordinate, supervise and manage the

activities of housekeeping staff
- Conduct inspections to ensure that health

regulations, safety standards and hotel policies are being met
- Select and purchase equipment and supplies, and

maintain inventory
- Assist in hiring and training housekeeping staff
- Prepare budgets and employee schedules.

- Completion of secondary school
- At least 2 to 3 years experience as a housekeeper/cleaner
