Executive Housekeeping Manager

**Job Summary**
The Executive Housekeeper is responsible for overseeing the cleanliness and maintenance of the guest rooms and public areas, ensuring that all areas meet the highest standards of cleanliness and hygiene as outlined by Best Western standards. This role involves managing housekeeping staff, coordinating cleaning schedules, and implementing best practices and continuous training. The Executive Housekeeper plays a crucial role in enhancing the overall guest experience within the hospitality industry.
**Duties**
- Supervise and train housekeeping staff to ensure efficient operations and adherence to cleaning protocols.
- Develop and implement cleaning schedules for all areas of the facility, including guest rooms, public spaces, and back-of-house areas.
- Conduct regular inspections of all areas to ensure compliance with cleanliness standards and address any issues promptly.
- Manage inventory of cleaning supplies and equipment, ensuring that all necessary items are stocked and in good working condition.
- Collaborate with other departments to coordinate special cleaning projects or events as needed.
- Maintain records of cleaning activities, staff performance, and inventory usage for reporting purposes.
- Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations in all cleaning practices.
**Requirements**:
- Proven experience in custodial services or industrial cleaning within a hotel or hospitality environment is preferred.
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to manage and motivate a team effectively.
- Excellent organizational skills with attention to detail to maintain high cleanliness standards.
- Knowledge of cleaning chemicals, supplies, and equipment used in housekeeping operations.
- Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays as needed.
- Strong communication skills to interact effectively with staff and guests.
This position is essential for maintaining a welcoming atmosphere for guests while ensuring operational efficiency within the housekeeping department.
Pay: $50,000.00-$55,000.00 per year
