**Job Overview**

**Duties**
- Develop personalized lesson plans that cater to individual student needs and learning styles.
- Assess student progress and adjust teaching strategies accordingly to ensure understanding and retention of material.
- Create a positive and encouraging learning environment that fosters student confidence and motivation.
- Assist students with homework, projects, and exam preparation.
- Communicate effectively with parents or guardians regarding student progress and areas for improvement.
- Utilize various teaching methods to accommodate different learning preferences, including visual aids, interactive activities, and written exercises.

**Qualifications**
- Experience in a classroom setting or previous tutoring experience is preferred.
- Proficiency in at least one of the following languages: English, French, Mandarin, or Spanish.
- Strong communication skills with the ability to explain complex concepts in an understandable manner.
- A passion for education and a commitment to helping students succeed academically.
- Ability to work effectively with children of various ages and backgrounds.
- Patience, creativity, and adaptability in teaching approaches.
- A degree in education or a related field is a plus but not required.

Pay: $25.00-$35.00 per hour

Expected hours: 4 - 8 per week
