Assistant Store Manager

**Job Overview**
**Responsibilities**
- Assist in overseeing daily store operations to ensure efficiency and effectiveness.
- Support the Store Manager in recruiting, training, and developing staff to enhance team performance.
- Manage inventory control processes including stock replenishment, merchandising, and pricing strategies.
- Ensure excellent customer service by addressing customer inquiries and resolving issues promptly.
- Supervise cash handling procedures and maintain accurate bookkeeping practices.
- Conduct employee orientation and provide ongoing training & development opportunities for staff.
- Implement marketing strategies to promote store sales and enhance brand visibility.
- Monitor sales performance and assist in budgeting efforts to achieve financial targets.
- Maintain a clean, organized store environment that aligns with company standards.
- Collaborate with team members to foster a positive work culture focused on teamwork and success.
**Requirements**:
- Proven experience in retail management or as an Assistant Manager is preferred.
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and manage a diverse team.
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written; bilingual or multilingual abilities are a plus.
- Proficiency in retail math, inventory management, and POS systems.
- Experience with payroll processing, budgeting, and administrative tasks.
- Strong organizational skills with effective time management capabilities.
- Ability to handle cash transactions accurately and responsibly.
- Knowledge of merchandising techniques and sales strategies is essential.
- Previous experience in grocery store operations or wireless sales is advantageous.
