**YOUR MISSION**

As an Interpreter - Artist Support within Human Performance Operations, you will report to the Team Leader - Operations and Artist Services. You will be a key player in facilitating communication between artists and various departments. You will be involved in welcome days, training periods, medical appointments, physiotherapy sessions, make-up and costume fitting sessions, meetings with Cirque du Soleil's various administrative departments and sessions organized by the reception to promote the integration of new artists.

**Responsibilities:
- Act as interpreter during the various activities, ensuring accurate and fluent interpretation between the language spoken by the artist and English, without expressing an opinion and without seeking to alter the original content, context or style.
- Provide linguistic support during training sessions, translating technical instructions from human performance specialists to ensure optimal understanding of the artists.
- Accompany artists to medical appointments, facilitating communication between them and health professionals.
- Participate in physiotherapy, make-up and costume fitting sessions, ensuring that artists understand all relevant instructions and information.
- Promote the use of English with artists to accelerate their integration, stimulate their autonomy and promote the use of acquired vocabulary.
- Collaborate closely with human performance specialists, healthcare professionals and therapists (Pmed), and administrative services to ensure transparent and effective communication.
- Produce quality translations from a source language into a target language while preserving the meaning, structure and tone of the original document.
- Respect confidentiality standards in all exchanges, whether during training sessions, meetings, or in the course of other activities.

**YOUR UNIQUE EXPERTISE**
- Excellent spoken and written French and English.
- Experience as an interpreter, preferably in the performing arts and/or related fields (linguistics, second language teaching, translation).
- Knowledge of circus technical vocabulary and medical terms an asset.
- Ability to work in a multicultural environment and adapt to the specific needs of artists.
- Flexible hours, with availability evenings and weekends if necessary.
- Ability to adapt to frequent last-minute changes.
- Ability to manage stress in emergency situations.
