**Job Purpose**:
Guest Service Representatives are to provide and ensure optimal guest experience, store appearance and organization to be the most preferred and trusted pet store in Canada_._ It is the responsibility of the Guest Service Representative to meet the needs of guests and their pets through frequent check-ins, answering questions, stocked shelves and optimal solo shopping experience (Clean & maintained shelves, product in-stock, etc.).

**Responsibilities and Duties**:

- Guest Service_
- Greeting all guests upon arrival, regular check-ins with guests to ensure needs are being met, efficient and friendly till check out experience, provide highest quality experience with honesty, integrity, and positivity
- Store Appearance_
- Maintain stock on the shelves, product detail communication for your specific section (ie. Price tags, sales signs, etc), clean and face products and shelves to provide the highest quality of solo shopping experience for the customer
- System Maintenance_
- Complete routine tasks specified in checklists & delegated by leaders and follow proper system procedures for efficiency, effective communication, and accuracy of inventory.
- Self-Development_
- Take initiative in any possible opportunities to learn and develop skills or knowledge in any area within Homes Alive to develop yourself to become a servant leader (a leader that extends beyond the bounds of leader job role)

**Wage Expectations**:
Starting at $16.25 per hour.

**Qualifications and Skills**:
**Requirements**:

- Excellent time management & attention to detail
- Self-motivation and high work intensity
- Excellent teamwork & collaborative abilities
- High social IQ to meet guests needs
- Effective communication ability
- Trustworthy & positive attitude

**Preferred**:

- 2+ years restaurant experience
- 2+ years grocery experience
