We are looking to fill a permanent position of **Finishing Supervisor **at our Mississauga, Ontario branch of Richelieu Hardware Ltd.

**The main responsibilities of a Warehouse Supervisor are to**:

- Supervising staff to ensure working to daily targets.
- Supervise timely production of colour matches and suggest improvements
- Ensure orders and processing is done in a timely manner to get as many orders as possible out the per day.
- Provide job training where needed, including new employees.
- Arranging and maintaining training of all finishing staff including equipment, health and safety. Ensuring all H & S procedures are followed by the staff.
- Provide performance feedback to staff and management.
- Deal with staff performance issues. Assist in hiring new employees.
- Keep the warehouse manager informed of operational needs.
- Key holder for lock-up and alarm response.
- Responsible to cover other warehouse supervisors sick and vacation needs as required including the possibility of OT.
- Analyze colour matching procedures and suggest improvements to reduce time to match a colour.
- Analyze inventory adjustments and suggest improvements in procedures to reduce inaccuracy.
- Perform all other tasks required by his /her immediate supervisor or as dictated by daily performance objectives.

**Requirements**:

- College degree is an asset.
- Experience in warehouse operations in a unionized environment.
- Knowledge of operation and warehouse management of distribution processes.
- Knowledge of Office suite (Word, Excel, etc.), of AS-400, of a Warehouse Management System and of Radio Frequency.
- Forklift and Reach Truck experience preferred
- Experience with AS400 system (an asset)
