In this role, you will**: - Data Visualization: Design and develop dashboards and reports for data quality and control of processes using Power BI. - Data Modeling: Create and maintain data models to support reporting and analytics needs. - ETL Processes: Develop and manage ETL processes to ensure data is accurately and efficiently loaded into the BI system. - Data Analysis: Perform data analysis to identify trends, patterns, and insights that support business decision-making. - Collaboration: Work with business stakeholders and Senior Management to gather requirements and ensure BI solutions meet their needs - Performance Optimization: Optimize internal processes and programs for performance and usability - Documentation: Document BI solutions, including data models, ETL processes, and report specifications. - Training and Support: Provide training and support to end-users on Power BI tools and reports. - Data Governance: Collaborate with Senior Management to ensure data accuracy, integrity, and security within the BI environment. **Do you have the skills that will enable you to succeed in this role? - We'd love to work with you if you have**: - Proficiency in SQL and experience with relational databases. - Experience in Power BI, DAX MIS Analysis Server, Phyton, VBA - Experience with data modeling, ETL processes, and data warehousing. - Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills. - Strong communication and collaboration skills. - Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects simultaneously. - Knowledge of data governance and best practices for data security. - High workload is expected and working extra time **What’s in it for you?** - An inclusive & collaborative working environment that encourages creativity, curiosity, and celebrates success - We offer a competitive rewards package: Performance bonus, Employee Share Ownership Program, and Pension Plan Matching, Health Benefits from day one - Your career matters You will have access to career development and progression opportunities. scotiafinancejobs Location(s): Canada : Ontario : Toronto Scotiabank is a leading bank in the Americas.
