**Overview**
We are seeking enthusiastic and dedicated Casual Sales Associates to join our team during the busy season. This role is ideal for individuals who thrive in a fast-paced environment and are passionate about providing exceptional customer service. As a Casual Sales Associate, you will be responsible for but not limited to, assisting customers, managing transactions, and supporting various operational tasks to ensure a smooth shopping experience.

**Responsibilities**
- Greet customers warmly and assist them with their inquiries while proving product information and recommendations, ensuring a positive shopping experience.
- Assist loading products into outbound vehicles as needed.
- Handle cash transactions accurately and efficiently, maintaining proper cash handling procedures.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the overall business and checkout areas.
- Utilize technology effectively to process sales transactions and manage inventory systems.
- Assist with inventory management, including restocking and organizing merchandise, inventory count and prompting management when stock is low.
- Collaborate with team members to meet store goals and objectives during peak seasons while being a team player.

**Skills**
- Customer-oriented, with a positive attitude and a reliable, self motivated and a collaborative team player.
- Strong professional phone etiquette and prompt customer responsiveness.
- Experience with landscape, hardscape, nursery and forestry is a plus.
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
- Valid driver's license is required.
- Strong time management skills to prioritize tasks effectively in a busy environment and make sound decisions.
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds.
- Organizational skills to maintain an orderly workspace and manage inventory efficiently.
- Experience in cashiering and cash handling procedures is preferred but not required.
